![]() Well long story short, applying the curve in Dolby Access made the HS80 sound really nice, with crisp, detailed and powerful sound, no distortion at all. I installed the iCUE software, updated firmware and activated the Dolby Access app for my HS80.Īfter that, leaving iCUE eq settings on default (pure direct I think) I went to Dolby Access app and edited the eq settings from there using a custom curve I had for some previous headphones I had that were really cheap but with surprisingly awesome audio quality (really, no other headphones I've had matched that sound quality, only MH752 came close, not better nor worse, just different, and now HS80) but with sadly somewhat low build quality (my second pair's left speaker started dying the same way that happened with the first). However I must say that, while they do sound flat when just out of the box, for me equalizer APO was not necessary (I use it for my MH752 tho).
